Beautiful day and yardwork!

Today was such a nice day. Not quite as wonderfully nice as it was yesterday but it was nice none the less.
Because we live in Government housing we have Spring and Fall Cleanup.. well today was Spring cleanup. The kids Hubby myself and Our wonderful Neighbors spent over 4 hours outside raking mowing and trimming trees then off to the organic waste site to dispose of said stuff!

I used to be such a winter whore.. I LOVED Winter. the cold the briskness.. etc etc but as I am getting older I am finding I am much mroe fond of Spring and Fall.. nice days and then the nights are cool enough to just need a light jacket but the days are so amazingly wonderful.

I am however at this very moment procrastinating doing my housework. I was down with a stomach bug for 1 day .. 1 DAY thats it.. but 1 day and a house of 5 and no help from anyone with anything else around the house = a few days of catch up. So that is where I am as of today But Instead of cleaning I am taking a break and blogging where I can share the things that make me happy without the eyes of those we prefer not to deal with do not see.

The baby has started drinking milk... (he turns 1 in 2 days!) But he prefers Strawberry milk. he is his fathers son! more and more everyday I see more of hubby in the baby. in the way the baby smiles at me.. the way he laughs just everything about the baby is my hubby. Please help me!

This year is already going by too fast. My baby girl will be 7 next month thats it.. 7 in a month!!!It just amazes me I remember when she was so small and a baby just *sigh* She is becoming such a Big girl now.

I do miss so many things .. simple things liek the telephone ringing with someone on the other end who wants to chat with me. I miss Wal-Mart. I miss convienience.. But What a experience here is. It is such a beautiful countryside.. now you think of Germany and you probably dont even envision where we are... we are in the country where there are trees and farms and the boonies!! It is gorgeous here.

Well it is getting late in the day and the housework can no longer wait.
