This is the last weekend before school starts, the kids are working on being back on a schedule and waking up at a earlier time than we have all summer. There is sadness and nervousness in the air, trepidation as they are all growing and changing into Almost Adults.. Almost Teens and Almost pre teens.
I am anxious for the next few months to pass, it has been a long but fast year, I know it is a bit of a confusing statement but.. the days drag by.. when will I be able to sleep, but then I wake up and next thing I know it is August and the weeks go fast.
I am hoping the wheels have been set in motion and continue to work in our direction, please keep us in your prayers for getting the next duty station we are hoping begging and dreaming of getting.
I am selfish I want to stay close to my friend and her children. I want to have a sense of familiarity. Also I think the kids would be happy there too.
This summer has not been much of a summer the cold has taken over much of the heat maybe in September it will get hot. Who knows, all I know is I would like seasons other than cold colder and freezing your ass off.. Now don't get me wrong there have been a couple wow it is hot tank top and shorts even go to the swimming pool but not a whole lot it has been too cold!

((Hugs)) my dear! I hope that you are able to stay with your friend and her kids at the next post. I hope the kids have a great first day back to school. We are finally having hte 2nd day of school a week later.
