What a whirlwind trip.. The last 3 days has been a drive to California and back to Washington and stuck in Portland Oregons traffic each way!
The ride down was truly HORRIFIC! Little man cried screamed threw up etc etc etc the entire trip down. We left Washington at 1:30 pm arrived in Californai at 6 am *some Idea of what the drive was like* The kids did prett good all things considered but they are all now convinced we should have a minivan!
Girl Pants (disclaimer I call my son girl pants because well he wears them and for people who do not know me or my children you need not know their names) is officially living with his father / dad as of Thursday. He was happy to be there he was laughing and smiling and in general just at ease with living with them so I hope he thrives.
Girl Pants was a turd hole up until he was left at his Dad's house. Argued with me etc etc etc He didnt even want to give me a kiss good bye. I let them know that I love him and I will miss him and to be the kid I know he is. I figure once the new wears off and the old shines through *then what whatcha gonna do when the new wears off and the old shines through and it aint really love and it aint really lust you aint anybody anybodys gonna trust can't turn back for the bridges youve burned* was the song that kept coming to mind.
I think a part of me KNOWS he will stay there and not want to come back to me. Its a new life a life with someone he has fantasized about.
The 3 smaller people did exceptional on the way home little man slept Baby girl and Mr Man just kicked it and hung out. It took less time to get home than it took for us to get there.
On the UPSIDE I did get to visit with my family, the kids all got to see everyone again *except little sister who lives in AZ.* I got to see my aunt and my sister and brother and their children. And of course there was the ever famous WING STOP BABAY! Ok.. if you like buffalo wings and you have one near you YOU MUST TRY THEM! mmmm
Today is a day of come home clean get the garbage Girl pants didnt want to throw away taken out and return of the minivan!
