Kevlar helmet owner *I swear I will come up with a name for him* has been on leave for the past 12 days in 12 days we have gone to California and back.. Gone to Point Defiance Zoo and aquarium and NW Trek and park. Also alot of swimming and cleaning ohh and of course the never endeing laundry that seems to follow me like the bad guy in a horror film.
the Zoo and Aquarium was AWESOME.. to see the belugas and seals and other animals we have not seen at any other zoos. Ohh and the Sharks.. Mr. Man loved the sharks he was totally fascinated by them.
Baby Girl was upset that the Polar bears were asleep in the damn near 100 degree weather (Ok maybe not THAT hot but in mid to high 90's that day)
The NW Trek was incredible. We walked around and Baby girl LOVED the big Cats.. she is definately a cat person. We also did the tram ride and Kevlar helmet owner loved the big game they had there.. The Caribou and deer and bison. We were lucky enough to see the Ram showing off his rack to a female and stopping us in our tracks literally.
On the hotter days We have been out in the pool and having a BLAST!
The Children are enjoying their summer Vacation the whole Momma can we go back out after dinner please??? Yeah guys just come in when the street lights come on. Do you remember those days?? Playing outside till you came in sweaty and stinky from playing all day long in the sun and dirt? Finally taking a bath and sleeping for the night?? Then waking up late in the morning just to start all over again. THANK GOODNESS we have finally went for hot hot hot to almost cold out here in beautiful Washington. I LOVE the Climate here. The kids are back into shorts with T-shirts as opposed to bathing suits and minimal clothing.
Girl Pants called the other day and it was nice to hear from him He is doing well and having fun in California. He has been swimming riding quads going to work.. etc etc etc School starts for him on the 14th of August.
The Movers come here in a week and a half.. Umm HOW DID THAT HAPPEN??? GAG! VOMIT! PANIC!
So now the countdown has begun and the worry to boot. I have to pack for 5 people 2 dogs and breastfeed on demand a almost 4 month old baby! Time flies when you ar enot watching it.
Little man is almost 4 months old. And he is going in to be stabbed in the legs again. I know there is alot of arguments about not getting their immunizations but with us moving to another country I am wanting that added sence of false security. He is starting to get mobile.. a very primative form of movement but he is MOBILE! He has found he can wiggle in his swing he can wiggle out of the bouncy chair and he can move and change what he is looking at.. I think he will be a VERY early crawler. He is by far one of the easiest babies I have ever known.. But then I wonder if that is just because I am getting older and I do not panic and stress as much anymore.
I am sooo very excited about our move to another country.. I mean how could I not be??? new languages?? Pastries I am guessing that are to die for and chocolate.. Mmmmmmmmmmm Wines.. and I can only imagine what else this country will have to offer... The history the architecture.. EVERYTHING. However I am not looking forward to the 6months to 1 year away from Kevlar helmet owner.
Our dogs are now offically OUR dogs.. they are microchipped and ours!! Something Kelvar helmet owner and I have been talking about doing for over a year now.. Can we say P R O C R A S T I N A T I O N!!
I SHOULD be cleaning up after dinner but I wanted to Blog...
The emotional roller coaster has slowed down I am no longer on the verge of tears over everything but I still miss my son.. And when he called I did cry. I am hoping that once I have gotten used to him being gone it wont be so hard when I do talk to him.

Yes, I hear you about summertime. I am thrilled to see my kids doing that. Hearing G&N in the back yard shrieking with delight in eachother makes me so happy.
Oy. What a huge leap you're making! I am glad you have a great attitude about it, but even happier that you have packers.
